Day 1: TULEAR - ANAKAO

 

In the morning, transfer by boat (2 hours) through the lagoon to reach the small village of Anakao. Village fishermen of the Vézo ethnic group, with their outrigger canoes, navigate the entire west coast. Day of relaxation. Dinner and overnight in bungalow

 

Day 2: ANAKAO

 

Relaxation, swimming, diving, sea excursion ...

 

Day 3: ANAKAO - ITAMPOLO
 

We take a sandy track in 4x4 along the coast and cross the dry vegetation of the Mahafaly plateau and euphorbia ... We can see several species of birds ... En route, stop at Tsimanampetsotsa National Park, a small excursion in the reserve and discovery of the lake. After lunch, continuation on Itampolo, a small fishing village by the sea. Arrival in the late afternoon. Installation at the cottage. Dinner and night.

 

Day 4 - Day 5: ITAMPOLO - LAVANONO

 

Continuation in 4x4. During 2 days, we go along the coast crossing beautiful sites, beautiful wild beaches ... Stop in the fishing villages, discover their traditional way of life and secular ... Relaxation and swimming ... Nights in lodging stage.

 

Day 6: FAUX CAP - BERENTY
 

After the coastal track, we continue to the Berenty Reserve, Madagascar's largest private reserve stretching along the Mandrare River. Picnic lunch. Arrival in the afternoon, at the cottage. Late afternoon free. Night in a cottage in the reserve. GITE OF BERENTY

Day 7: DISCOVER BERENTY

 

Discovery: visit of the reserve, 4 species of lemurs widespread like the lemur Sifaka or Catta also called Maki. The flora and gallery forest also characterize this reserve. Visit of the museum of art and popular tradition Antandroy, exhibition of the parts of the daily life of this ethnic group of South of Madagascar: instruments of music, objects for divinatory use ...
 

Day 8: BERENTY - FORT DAUPHIN

 

Free morning: Lunch. Back to Fort Dauphin in the afternoon. Installation at the hotel

 

Day 9: FORT DAUPHIN

 

Departure for Lake Lanirano after breakfast. Boarding the boats to the fishing village of Evatra. Visit of the village. Walk on the trail leading to Lokaro Bay. Return to the hotel at the end of the day.

 

Day 10: FORT DAUPHIN - TANANARIVE

 

Transfer to the airport then fly to Antananarivo
