Day 1: Reception at Antananarivo airport  and transfer to the hotel

Arrival at Ivato International Airport. Airport reception and transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 2: Antananarivo - Antsirabe

​

Departure after breakfast we cross the landscapes of the highlands to reach the city of Antsirabe, "the city of water". On the way, we mark a stop at Ambatolampy to visit a traditional workshop making aluminum pots. Once in Antsirabe, we go to the hotel before visiting the city and some workshops where the zebu horn is worked. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 3: Antsirabe - Miandrivazo

After breakfast, we head towards Miandrivazo, we take the time to admire the beauty of the desert landscape. After 4 hours of driving, arrival at destination, we take place at the hotel, before presenting ourselves to the competent authorities for some formalities. Then we have free time to discover the city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 4 - Day 5: Tsiribihina descent in barge

1st day of the descent of the famous river Tsiribihina in barge with the crossing of a magnificent landscape. We will see various varieties of birds and chameleons. After a day rich in discoveries, a good night's rest is essential. It is under a tent that we are won over by sleep. After breakfast, we continue the descent. The passage through the gorge Bemaraha allows us to contemplate the species of lemurs Sifaka and Fulvus who come to drink at the river. Then, arriving at the waterfall of Anosin'ampela, we will swim down the natural waterfall. Lunch taken on the spot, then we continue our road in barge and spend the night in bivouac.

 

Day 6: Tsiribihina - Belo

After breakfast, we resume the descent of Tsiribihina, it will be our last day in barge. We can see turtles, bats and crocodiles during this crossing. In the afternoon, we will leave the boat and we will make a zebu cart transfer to the village of Antsiraraka. On the spot of the 4X4 wait for us to take us to Belo. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 7: Belo - Bekopaka

Breakfast, departure for Bekopaka in 4X4 for a 4 hours journey, with the crossing of the Manambolo river aboard a ferry. Then check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel Olympe du Bemaraha or similar Day 8: Visit of the big Tsingy 17km: +/- 1h Breakfast, then we drive 4 × 4 for the impressive Great Tsingy (UNESCO World Heritage), a unique place in the world. These are located in Andamozavaky, 17 km from the hotel. After the visit, return to the same hotel. In the afternoon, visit small Tsingy for 1 hour. Diner and night at the place.

 

Day 9: Bekopaka - Belo - Morondava

 

Early in the morning, we will take the road to Morondava. We stop at Belo sur Tsiribihina for lunch. Then we take the track to Morondava, where we discover the legendary sacred baobab and baobab lovers. We will then go through the alley of baobabs, in this magical place, we will admire the sunset that has contributed to its reputation. Dinner and overnight at hotel the hotel.

 

D10: Morondava - Antananarivo

Transfer to the airport according to the domestic flight time. End of service.
