Day 1: TANANARIVE - ANTSIRABE

 

Welcome at the airport, travel through the highlands characterized by its typical villages of Imerina and rice terraces. Arrival in Antsirabe in the afternoon, visit of its surroundings.

 

Day 2: ANTSIRABE - MIANDRIVAZO

 

Departure for Miandrivazo in tarred road (about 4 hours). Formalities at the town hall and the police in Miandrivazo.

 

Day 3: BOARDING ON THE RIVER

 

Journey by canoe contemplating beautiful landscapes, varieties of birds and chameleons. Night in bivouac.

 

Day 4: SECOND DAY IN PIROGUE

 

Enter the gorge of the famous Bemaraha, where there are wooded banks, possibility to observe the lemurs. Noon, swimming at the waterfall of Anosinampela. Picnic and return by pirogue. Night under tent.

 

Day 5: THE END OF DAY IN PIROGUE

 

Around 15 hours, the canoe ends. Immediately transfer by cart to reach the village of Antsiraraka about 7km. Night at the hotel.

 

Day 6: ANTSIRARAKA - BEKOPAKA

 

In the morning, departure by 4x4 for Bekopaka. Crossing the Tsiribihina ferry. Lunch in Belo on Tsiribihina. The trip continues to Bekopaka. Night at the camp of ANGAP (National Association of Protected Areas Management).

 

Day 7: TSINGY TOUR OF BEMARAHA

 

In the morning, a half-day walk in the Tsingy. Discovery of sharp limestone peaks, and its endemic flora. Site classified by UNESCO. Mandatory guide. Accommodation at the ANGAP camp.

 

Day 8: BACK TO MORONDAVA

 

In the morning, we reach Morondava by 4x4. Lunch in Belo on Tsiribihina. Visit baobabs: baobab lovers, baobab sacred baobabs avenue. Sunset at the famous alley of baobabs. Night at the hotel.
