Day 1: ANTANANARIVO - ANDASIBE

Road to the reserve of Périnet, promised land of naturalists. Stop at the "Butterfly Farms" located in the hollow of the Mandraka Valley, a private park for observing endangered species. Arrival late afternoon in Périnet, in the heart of tropical vegetation and ubiquitous.

Day 02: ANDASIBE

​

Guided tour of the Analamazaotra National Park for the observation of the largest living lemur on the planet (Indri-Indri) in its natural environment, frogs and other reptiles.

Day 3: ANDASIBE - MANAMBATO - ANKANIN'NY NOFY

​

Accompanied by a specialized guide, we infiltrate the fauna and flora of this exceptional rainforest. Here lives the legendary Indri Indri, the biggest lemur recognized by its plaintive cry. Continue by road to Manambato before continuing through the Pangalanes canals to Lake Ampitabe. Beaches and lagoon encourage a swim before Sunset.

Day 4: ANKANIN'NY NOFY

It is by boat that we discover the wild expanses, unexplored and still very green Pangalanes. From lakes to canals, the abundance and luxuriance of vegetation vanish before the aridity and whiteness of a wild beach. The lacustrine country of the Betsimisaraka, a hospitable people of fishermen and farmers also gives the opportunity of unusual encounters

Day 5: ANKANIN'NY NOFY - TAMATAVE

​

Traced by the former colonial power, the Pangalanes Canal offers us the plant beauties of this unspoiled nature of the East Coast. At the pace of the small villages that we meet over the lagoons, it is by boat that we reach Manangareza, river port of Tamatave. It is by borrowing its broad avenues lined with palm trees, following the smells of vanilla and spices that escape the Bazaar Be that we discover the main attractions of this university city.

Day 6: TOAMASINA - MAHAMBO

​

Walk in the city of Tamatave. To discover the Bazar Be market, the largest port of Madagascar. Continuation to Mahambo

Mahambo has a beach opening onto a bay, lush vegetation that allows a hike in the forest.

Day 7: MAHAMBO - SAINTE MARIE

Following the coastal road, it is to Soanierana Ivongo that we embark on a small ferry to cross the arm of the sea separating us from the island of Sainte Marie. Vast tropical garden planted with coconut trees, cinnamon and clove trees "the island of women" welcomes us. Oryx flowers, Nosy Boraha invites to idleness and meetings with its inhabitants.

 

Day 8: SAINTE MARIE

 

Departure for the discovery of the island with mats. It is by canoe that we reach this small paradise island located south of Sainte Marie. Visits and swimming are at the rendezvous.

Day 9: SAINTE MARIE - ANTANANARIVO

 

Back in the capital. Excursion to the Sacred Hills of Ambohimanga, ancient "forbidden city" of Imerina, before finding the center of this capital defying all modern urbanism. Shaded by jacarandas and frangipani trees, the paved alleys lined with Merina houses exude a unique atmosphere.
